Your role will include the review of management accounts for clients in the media/advertising sector. Analysis of cashflow and projections, liquidity/current asset ratios. Compilation of reports and conclusions on the client’s credit worthiness, and their ability to continue to meet their debts as they fall due. Candidates must have proven experience of working in a similar role, a thorough understanding of company financial accounts, management accounts, cashflow and projections and liquidity/current asset ratios and what they mean. Our client is looking for a Credit Controller who will have responsibility for the credit control functions for the London region of the Group’s debt ledger. The role reports directly to the Group Credit Manager and you will be handling the collection of overdue debts via the telephone and correspondence. You will be required to visit regional offices as necessary and regular Credit Management team meetings in the Head Office. Excellent communication, problem solving and telephone cash collection skills, preferably gained in the Construction or Professional Services industries are required. A positive, resilient, personable character; a self-starter with an awareness of the importance of their role within a wider team is essential. Salary dependent on experience.

An initial temporary contract for approximately 6-8 weeks which may lead to a permanent position. Reporting to the Remedial Risk and Collections Manager, your main task will be to work closely with appointed Insolvency Practitioners to minimise the exposure to any losses. You will be dealing with all Insolvency Procedures and attending Creditors meetings. A background in insolvency and dealing with insolvency practitioners is essential as well as the ability to analyse data and make recommendations. Good problem solving and attention to detail and a tenacious approach is essential. Credit card experience would be an advantage. Salary dependent on experience.
