Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club
London Branch will be holding its 21st Annual Golf Day, on Friday 27 June 2014.
As usual this will be a joint event with ICM East of England.
By popular demand the venue will be the same as for the last three years – the prestigious The Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club, Broxbournebury Mansion, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire EN10 7PY
The timetable is:-
11:30 Arrival for Tea, Coffee & Bacon Rolls 13:06 First Tee Off 18:00 Dinner and prize giving (or earlier depending on the field)
We play in four ball teams so it would be ideal if you or your company can make up a team. Clients, friend and family are welcome to participate. The standard of golf is usually variable and is a stableford competition off 7/8ths of handicap, as it is a “key to the door” event.
The Stableford system of scoring was invented in 1931 by Dr Frank Stableford of the Wallasey & Royal Liverpool Golf Clubs and the first competition under Stableford Rules was played on 16 May 1932 at Wallasey.
There is individual and runner up prizes for the highest individual score, together with the team prize with the highest score.
For bacon rolls, 18 holes of golf, Dinner and prize giving the cost is £43 per person.
