ICM launches Level 2 Award in Taking Control of Goods with the HCEOA
Press release – 20 June 2014
The ICM has launched a Level 2 Award in Taking Control of Goods (TCG) that has been developed in conjunction with the High Court Enforcement Officers Association (HCEOA).
The award is fully Ofqual accredited and approved by the Ministry of Justice and Skills for Security, and the first exams will be taken in July 2014.
Developed in response to the Government’s implementation of the “Tribunals Courts & Enforcement Act 2007 and the detailed Regulations issued in 2013 and 2014”, the qualification fully meets the certification requirements for enforcement agents.
The ICM has also worked with the HCEOA to develop an online learning package and practice tests to support preparation for the qualifying exam.
Andrew Wilson, Vice Chair of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association (HCEOA) commented: “As ever, the HCEOA has led the way in fulfilling its promised role as exemplars in the civil enforcement world by working in partnership with the ICM to produce a Level 2 TCG examination in readiness for 6th August deadline set by the Ministry of Justice.
Exams will be available monthly at Pearson Vue testing centres throughout the country with the first ones already scheduled on 23 July, 5 August and 2 September.”
