ICM wins marketing and design award
Press Release – 28 April 2014
The Institute of Credit Management (ICM) has won the Marketing and Design category at the Rutland Pride Business Awards 2014.
Presented at a glittering gala dinner at the Ladywood Estate in Knossington, the awards are designed to celebrate local businesses in Stamford and Rutland’s achievements.
Businesses had to demonstrate they had developed and implemented a marketing strategy that has delivered measurable benefits such as increased profit, sales, usage or awareness. The panel of judges were looking for outstanding examples of websites, corporate identities, brochures or other forms of corporate communication.
Peter Collinson, Director of Business Development and Marketing who was presented the award says it is a great reward to receive recognition from the business community for our recent marketing initiatives that have included a re-branding project, a brand new website, new brochure and promotional collateral: “This is a fantastic achievement for all involved at the ICM and our creative partners at dsquared. The impact of these projects has been truly astonishing, with a five-fold increase in monthly website hits over the last six months!”
Commenting on the ICM’s win, Nicky Barr, Director of the Stamford and Rutland Business Awards says the Judges felt that it was the breadth and cohesion of ICM’s marketing strategy and delivery that really stood up: “The fact that the success of the campaign had delivered measurable and sustainable results was of huge significance.”
According to Nicky the area boasts over 2,500 registered businesses, an employment rate of 75.2%, almost 5% above the UK’s average which provides over 28,000 residents with jobs, helping maintain the economy of the area: “From global corporates to sole traders this area’s business community is vibrant and innovative, so to win one of the awards is a great achievement,” she concludes.
