ICM Yorkshire Ridings Branch
The last breakfast meeting of the season was held at The Deep in Hull, and more poignantly it was the last one organised by David Harrison. It is hard to imagine the ICM in Hull without David; for nearly two decades his tireless effort has helped to build up a vibrant ICM presence in Hull and East Yorks. Alas he has decided to retire to sunny Devon. During his time he never stopped writing, phoning, emailing and generally encouraging all in credit in Hull and the surrounding areas to come along to the two ICM branch meetings held in Hull each season. So happy retirement, David, and enjoy the champagne. Your legacy? In addition to the large events mentioned by Eileen, there will now remain two meetings per season in Hull. Rob Scrivenor has since volunteered to take up the reins left behind. Volunteer is such a good word, isn’t it? Thanks from everyone David.
