Member (MICM)

Member grade is for those who can demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience at management level in the credit profession.

Applicants for the Member grade must meet the following criteria:

  • have a minimum of five years experience at management level in the credit profession or its ancillary services.
  • support their application by providing independent, verifiable evidence to confirm this.
  • applicants from the ancillary credit services field should be able to produce evidence that:

a) their management level experience was acquired in a credit related organisation.
b) they performed a role associated with that organisation's credit operations, credit personnel or the credit function of its clients.

We do not expect applicants to have had experience of every aspect of credit management and we will take account of this in considering your application. Please remember, however, we do expect five years management experience to be substantiated.

Successful applicants may use, whilst in membership, the designatory letters MICM.
